OVERVIEW

The READ family of EA antennas has been specifically designed for operations in austere environments and adverse weather conditions. These rugged antennas require minimal erection time and can be deployed by an unskilled operator in less than a minute. The entire antenna is encapsulated in a synthetic rubber providing water/weather resistance, additional strength and reduced noise.  A Velcro strap is used to retain the radial elements during storage and transport of the antenna. Three mounting options provide the operator quick and easy options for mounting in almost any environment. A loop at the topmost portion of the antenna and a Velcro strap at the antenna base allow for two separate mounting options. The antenna base is also designed to mount to any commercial tripod providing a third mounting option.
