The RRT Single Bay Battery Charger, is a state-of-the-art, high performance lightweight portable charger, contained within a weather and high-impact resistant case intended for the desktop, but yet tough enough to travel and operate in the field.   The RRT single bay battery charger provides simple and safe battery charging operation.  Plug the AC/DC power supply into the wall and into the charger, then place the battery on the charger and press the “Initiate” button to begin the cycle.  The RRT single bay battery charger module analyzes and detects battery fault conditions (i.e. short, damaged, etc. cells).  If a battery fault condition is detected the charger will not start the charge cycle.  If no faults are found, the battery charger commences charging operation and will completely recharge the UBI-2590 in approximately 3 to 4 hours. Each individual string of cells in the battery is recharged independently to ensure a thorough and complete charge of the UBI-2590.  After the charge cycle is complete, the battery can remain on the charger without concern of battery overcharge.  The charger will simply continue to check and recheck the battery’s state-of-charge and follow-up with a trickle charge if necessary in order to maintain the battery at its peak charge level.  The broad voltage input range of the AC/DC power supply enables the charger to function using almost any conventional U.S. or International AC power source.
