Radio Reconnaissance Technologies Inc. (RRT) was originally formed in 1992 as a proprietary business with a group of associated tactical and technical subject matter experts. We incorporated in 1997 and established the corporate office and the training and production facility in Stafford County, Virginia just north of Fredericksburg, Virginia. RRT has evolved to offer significant capabilities in system design, integration, fabrication, and prototyping as well as the modification of commercial items for use in tactical field environments.

RRT’s method is to work very closely with our corporate clients and DoD operational personnel to closely review and assist in defining new equipment design specifications. The understanding of how equipment is to be used, coupled with the “form or fit” of the gear is at least as critical to the importance to product’s eventual development as the actual function of the potential new design. We then apply our electrical, mechanical, integration and military power solution engineering experience to ensure the final product outcome either matches or exceeds operational expectations. RRT produces numerous intelligence collection systems, ruggedized repackaged gear, specialized cases and custom power products with the two most well known being the HIDRAH® and the Flexmaster®. Being manufacturers of tactical field IO/IW/EW equipment lends RRT a particularly keen insight when providing technology evaluation, design oversight, product acquisition and system integration tasks, as well as when providing alternate engineering and implementation feasibility recommendations.
