The Hardened Universal Equipment Case (HUEC®) provides exceptional configuration flexibility for mounting and powering complex electronic systems through the use of identical, reversible anodized aluminum mounting blades and hinged top panel that is suitable as an equipment mounting tray or platform. Further, the HUEC® provides 100% commonality for 12/24VDC power supply integration within the case. Very critical heat transfer and air cooling solutions are also provided and straightforward cable routing is accomplished by the well thought-out design of the blades, trays, and cutouts. The HUEC® intake and exhaust cooling system moves 85 CFM of positive airflow laterally (or horizontally) across the case and internal component items. The HUEC® comes equipped with both left and right connector panels readily available to populate any layout of communications or electrical connections. This provides connection access and enables sensitive equipment control from the outside of the case or “lid-shut” operations. For complete protection from the most severe environmental conditions, all sensitive electronic components are enclosed within a virtually indestructible, ruggedized Pelican® case.
